3.1   Can employees make higher contribution rate than employer?

Answer   The Provident Fund Act B.E. 2530 stipulates that employer's contribution must not less than the employees'
contribution. Therefore, employees cannot contribute to the fund more than employer. However, RMF or
Retirement Mutual Fund could be another alternative for employees to increase retirement saving.

Answer   Contribution remitted to the fund could occur only when there is a payment of remuneration . Taking a leave
without pay means there is no remuneration payment and, therefore, contributions to the fund cannot be made.

Answer   Donation cannot be distributed to specific employees but must equally distribute to all members of a fund.
